​After meeting with Sandy the first time, it felt like a huge weight was lifted. It was already November of my daughter’s senior year, and she needed a gentle push to get things done. Her common application was almost complete and she had started her essay, but seemed stuck. Friends were already far ahead in the process and we felt a bit overwhelmed and behind. Then, we found Sandy! She was the perfect balance of knowledge, encouragement and focus. She looked over my daughter’s Common App and helped tweak it to highlight her strengths. She reviewed her top college choices and provided honest advice about options and next steps. Sandy also helped hash out her college essay topic by asking questions and helping Hanna figure out what she really wanted to say. She gave her the needed push and confidence to get it done.
